Color Library: Ivory White on Walls

Benjamin Moore’s Ivory White (925) is a soft creamy white, almost a pale yellow.  It’s perfect year-round, cozy in the winter and refreshing in the summer.

Benjamin Moore offers some good coordinating colors – good for nearby rooms or accessories.

The walls in the room (left) and in the slide show below are Ivory White.

If you have a room painted Ivory White or another color you love, snap a picture and email it to jennifer. macomber@gmail.com.  You’ll help the library grow!

  1. ?what color do you recommend for the ceiling when using the Ivory white 925 on walls?

I think a standard ceiling white is fine. Or, I recently read in House Beautiful “101 Designer Secrets” a tip from Allison Caccoma who said “A good paint formula for ceilings is the trim color plus 50% white.”
